New Communication Capabilities for XS26 Safety Controllers
Safety Controllers from Banner simplify safety systems. In fact, a single XS26 Safety Controller can replace multiple safety relay modules on a machine and can easily expand to accommodate additional safety devices.
Our new XSeCAT Module makes it easy to add EtherCAT communication to the XS26, which simplifies troubleshooting by enabling In-Series Diagnostics (ISD) data to be shared with an EtherCAT-enabled PLC.
The recent addition of network access capabilities to Ethernet-enabled models allows users to access XS26 safety controllers from a remote location. The R95C consolidates up to eight 0–10 V DC or 4–20 mA analog signal inputs and sends them via Modbus back to a PLC, HMI, SCADA system, or cloud platform. Because it mounts near sensors on the machine, the R95C reduces or eliminates the need for expensive analog I/O cards in the PLC.
