The Q20-2 is a new polarized retroreflective photoelectric sensor designed for reliable detection, quick installation, and precise beam alignment. Its bright, visible red LED features best-in-class bore sighting, ensuring that the beam spot hits repeatably where it is intended. The Q20-2 features an industry-standard compact housing and robust threaded 3-mm mounting holes.
The Q20-2's retroreflective polarized optics and long-range sensing detects targets regardless of color, texture, and reflectivity to ensure robust, reliable performance.
The Q20-2 emitter’s best-in-class optical-to-mechanical alignment is up to five times more consistent than other sensors on the market, allowing machine builders to mount it into tighter spaces with simpler and more cost-effective brackets that require less adjustment.
The Q20-2 is designed to be easy to install, align, and adjust. Wiring is only required on the sensor side of the machine, and the bright red, bore-sighted beam spot aids with reflector alignment. Its industry-standard 25.4-mm mounting-hole spacing and robust threaded 3-mm mounting holes, multiple mounting-bracket options, and single-turn potentiometer make both new installations and sensor replacement easy.
Should the sensor ever get damaged, the repeatable and tightly controlled beam alignment allows for quick and easy drop-in replacement without requiring much time, effort, or experience to realign the sensor.
