    CLOUD ID technology enables sensors to be auto-recognized by the Asset Monitoring Gateway as well as Banner Cloud Data Services (CDS). For example if you connect a vibration sensor to your gateway, the CDS dashboard will automatically update the reporting system with vibration data.

    Compatible Sensor Nodes

    Part of making installation easy is eliminating the need to run cables between devices on your equipment. The Asset Monitoring Gateways with CLOUD ID are built to connect to up to 40 of Banner’s wireless condition monitoring sensors. These sensor nodes are battery powered and can monitor a variety of points such as vibration, temperature, humidity, level, pressure, and current.

    No Programming Necessary

    All Asset Monitoring Gateways with CLOUD ID are preconfigured to automatically begin processing data from the sensor nodes that you bind to the gateway. There is no need to connect a laptop and program anything. The gateway automatically identifies the sensor node type (e.g., vibration, humidity, distance measurement) so that it may be tagged correctly when sent to the cloud.

    Optional Cellular Connectivity

    All gateways found in our Asset Monitoring Gateway with CLOUD ID come with a cellular modem. While the default communication interface is the Ethernet port, which allows for a no-cost connection to your local network, the cellular modem can be used if connecting to that network is either inaccessible or not allowed due to company IT policies.

    Preconfigured Web Dashboards

    Banner CDS lets users set condition-based alerts from the cloud using multiple metrics of event severity and duration of time. These can provide remote users with email or SMS notifications, based on parameters set in the cloud. Running multiple shifts? Set time constraints so the right people get notified at the right time. 

    Customizable Dashboards and Alerts

    Building a dashboard in Banner CDS is easy. Drag-and-drop widgets and the ability to load images to your dashboard let you build exactly what you need to visualize your operation. Create custom alarms and alerts based on the levels you choose for the sensor nodes installed on your equipment.
