Banner Products Take the IP Test

At Banner we build rugged sensors, lights, and indicators to withstand the harshest work environments. Many of our products go through a rigorous process to ensure they reach this high standard of ingress protection including an ip69k rating.

Here in the testing area banner products go to meticulous testing and must not show any signs of ingress from dust and water, a process most other products would not be able to handle.

During testing, products are sprayed from four to six inches away with the water pressure of up to 1,400 50 psi.

Additionally water being sprayed is at a temperature of a hundred 76 degrees Fahrenheit. 

If parts can pass this test, it ensures their suitable for use in industries where dirt and dust can be an issue or where equipment must be able to withstand high-pressure high-temperature washdown.
