    R90C SERIAL ANALOG OUTPUT HUB

Control Analog Devices via RS485 Interface

Banner has introduced a new hub device to control analog devices via an RS-485 interface. The R90C reduces wiring by distributing analog outputs where you need them; these devices can also eliminate or reduce analog output cards required on the PLC. The R90C can be placed anywhere in a Modbus RTU system to control devices requiring an analog input. Examples include controlling lights with a 0–10 V dimming channel or sending voltage to proportional pneumatic valves to adjust air pressures. The R90C Modbus to Analog Hub features a Modbus RTU interface and four analog output ports with standard 4-pin M12 connections. The hub can be easily configured to generate either a current (4–20 mA) or voltage output (0–10 V) on each of the four unique analog ports.
