Send Diagnostic Data via EtherCAT from Banner’s XS26 Family

The new XSeCAT EtherCAT Communication Module adds EtherCAT communication to Banner’s XS26 series of expandable safety controllers while maintaining full XS26 flexibility of up to eight expansion modules. The XSeCAT allows detailed In-Series Diagnostics (ISD) device status and performance data to be shared with EtherCAT-enabled PLCs. Daisy chain and line topology ready, the XSeCAT has two RJ45 Ethernet connections that enable simple, scalable communication.
