DXMR90包含独立的Modbus客户端，可与多达5个独立的串行网络并发通信。它将Modbus RTU信号转换为Modbus TCP/IP、Ethernet I/P或PROFINET，并与使用RESTful、MQTT和API等互联网协议的设备通信。DXMR90的数据输出可以通过以太网（或支持蜂窝的相连DXM控制器）发送到云平台，其中包括邦纳的Cloud Data Services，以实现全天候的状态监测、电子邮件或短信警报以及数据驱动的见解。
