雷达传感器使用调频连续波雷达 (FMCW) 来检测静止和移动的车辆。 在右图的应用中，雷达传感器安装在免下车通道的悬臂上，用于检测路面。
车辆挡住雷达波束时，传感器就会切换输出，并将信号发送给银行员工，提醒他们有车辆到来，以确保及时提供服务，尽量减少客户的等待时间。
免下车通道的车辆检测和计数
雷达传感器除了可以触发顾客到来的信号外，还可以用来统计每天通过免下车通道的车辆数量。这就提供了有关高峰免下车时段的宝贵信息，有助于根据数据做出人员配置决策。
